OUR TERRACE NOW OPEN

OUR TERRACE NOW OPEN!

Spring is in full swing, our beautiful terrace is open to all, and we can’t think of a better way to enjoy it than with some ritzy spritzes and scrumptious plates. Our collection of tables, tucked underneath glorious purple tendrils of wisteria and lush green plants, are the perfect way to spend an afternoon enjoying the bustle of Covent Garden.

WONDERFUL WISTERIA

The terrace at Jamie Oliver Catherine Street is famous for its lush wisteria that comes out in full bloom each May. Join us for golden hour under the blooms and order our brand-new Bloomin’ Marvellous cocktail: a beautiful concoction inspired by the Parma Violet sweets of the ‘90s, made with gin, ćreme de violette, St-Germain and lemon juice.

BLOOMIN’ MARVELLOUS

Our new menu is a celebration of Britain’s finest produce. Start as you mean to go on with our vibrant Fifteen Salad with burrata, prosciutto and blood orange, or a twist on
Beans on Toast with braised beans, nettles and wild garlic. Go on to share a Whole Turbot with fresh herbs or our delicate springtime crab linguine. Then indulge in a
wobbly Queen of Tarts – our playful take on a classic.

We’ve taken our grill game to new heights with 80 day dry-aged rib-eye from a single farm, plus ex-dairy chateaubriand and fillet steaks worth shouting about. There’s beautiful Suffolk mutton chops, and veal sourced from cheesemaker Tom Calver
– which shows up in juicy chops and a springtime veal ragù. Not to mention the best fish and chips you’ll ever try.

Whether you’re looking for a leisurely lunch, a class-act dinner, nibbles and drinks during Golden Hour, or just a cheeky post-theatre dessert, we’ve got you covered.

AS SEEN ON SCREEN

JAMIE OLIVER ON CHEF’S TABLE: LEGENDS

We’re incredibly proud to share that Jamie stars in the 10 year anniversary edition of Netflix’s Emmy award-winning series, Chef’s Table. Premiering 28 April, the new Legends season honours four culinary giants who’ve changed the way the world eats: José Andrés, Alice Waters, Thomas Keller, and Jamie himself, who opens the series with a deeply personal episode. Spoiler: it’s a real tearjerker!

THE DISH THAT STOLE THE SHOW

Our brilliantly British menu is inspired by Jamie’s childhood at The Cricketers, his parents’ pub in Essex, where he first fell in love with cooking. Chef’s Table: Legends offers a glimpse into those early days, with Trevor’s Chicken – a recipe Jamie learnt from his dad – now one of the most-loved dishes at our restaurant. Is it any wonder?

Golden chicken, puff pastry, porcini duxelles and white wine cream sauce are a match made in heaven.

Come in and try it for yourself.

A DECADE OF CHEF’S TABLE

Created by David Gelb (Jiro Dreams of Sushi), Chef’s Table has given viewers a glimpse into the hidden lives of culinary changemakers since 2015, and the Legends season celebrates chefs whose food, philosophy and enduring impact have crossed borders.

Jamie’s episode, beautifully directed by Brian McGinn, follows his 25 year journey in the food industry, from cheffing as a young lad to launching Fifteen, a pioneering restaurant and training programme for young people. The episode also shows Jamie’s fight to improve Britain’s school meals, and the highs and lows of building a global restaurant empire – including cameos from our own restaurant.

It’s poignant, inspiring and totally unmissable.

ABOUT US

JAMIE’S LOVE LETTER TO FOOD

ABOUT US

Nestled beside the iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane is Jamie Oliver Catherine St; a celebration of Britain’s rich food culture and Jamie’s culinary love letter to the roots that inspired his passion for cooking. Since 2023, our restaurant, with its cosy booths, Art Deco-inspired bar and stunning dining room (spot Jamie’s favourite artwork) has been a joyful celebration of nostalgia, bang in the heart of Covent Garden.

And the food? It’s truly something special. British classics are lovingly reimagined: think golden Scottish langoustine scampi, native-breed meat, beautifully aged British cheeses and Scotch eggs with rich Cacklebean yolks, all crafted with ingredients from Jamie’s favourite suppliers. Signature cocktails are inspired by the seasons and created in-house, while our wines and beers — chosen for their quality and flavour — are perfect for toasting with loved ones.

But we’re more than just a restaurant; we’re a reflection of Jamie’s journey, from a young boy helping out in the kitchen at The Cricketers, his parents’ award-winning pub in Essex, where he grew up, right through to the renowned chef and restaurateur we admire today.

JAMIE’S INSPIRATION

It was in his parents’ pub and restaurant, which sat at the heart of the local community, where Jamie learned the importance of provenance, seasonality and skillful preparation — values that shaped his early years at the River Café and became the cornerstones of his own kitchens, including those at Fifteen and Barbecoa. They remain the golden thread in his career, from The Naked Chef to his latest cookbooks and beyond.

Jamie Oliver Catherine St is Jamie’s homage to those cherished beginnings, and the place to make happy memories of your own. So whether you’re stopping by for a pre-theatre supper or lingering over a leisurely meal with loved ones, we can’t wait to welcome you for a meal you’ll remember.

FOOD THAT GIVES BACK

Thank you for dining with us. Each meal we serve helps support The Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food Programme, whose mission it is to teach one million people to cook by 2030.

We run hands-on food education programmes across the UK and beyond, working in schools with our Jamie Oliver 10 Skills programme and in communities through our Ministry of Food Community programme. Our aim is to teach basic cooking skills that empower people to create affordable and nutritious meals for themselves and their families.

So far, our programmes have helped over 200,000 adults and children learn how to cook. And with the help of incredible local partners, we’re able to reach a wide range of demographics, including young people, families, young carers, and those recovering from addiction.

Everyone deserves to eat well and feel confident in the kitchen.

SUSTAINABILITY AT OUR CORE

When we opened on Catherine Street, we committed to going all-in on sustainability. From sourcing the best British ingredients to creating menus that reflect the seasons and showcase produce from local farmers and suppliers across the UK, our dishes are the proof in the pudding.

There’s grass-fed meat from family-run HG Walter Butchers, sustainable seafood from Stickleback Fish Company, seasonal fruit and veg from Wonky Veg and some banging British cheeses from Neal’s Yard Dairy — our menu celebrates quality ingredients, treated with love and care.

GOOD FOOD, EVEN BETTER PLANET

We’ve made sure our whole operation is as sustainable as possible. We cook on induction hobs and 100% of our energy comes from renewable sources. We’re also big on tackling waste — nothing we use goes to landfill, it’s all rescued and reused.

We’re all about cutting our carbon footprint in line with science and pushing ourselves to smash some big, ambitious goals. Whether it’s driving positive behavioural change or tackling food waste and campaigning for better food systems.

PROPER SUNDAY ROASTS

SUNDAYS DONE RIGHT

We’re taking weekends to the next level with one of the best roast dinners in London.

PROPER ROAST DINNERS

Make your Sunday extra tasty with incredible roasts, including dry-aged beef and beautiful vegan options. We also have sensational seasonal specials on offer, like our Blythburgh pork shoulder with spiced apple sauce.

All our roasts are served with a Yorkshire pudding, seasonal veggies, gorgeous gravy and crispy potatoes. Bring your loved ones together for a cosy Sunday in the heart of Covent Garden.

UNLOCK LIMITLESS POTATOES

Crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle… The perfect roast potato is a thing of beauty, and we’re letting our lucky guests max out on them when they say the secret password.

Mention the GOLDEN ROASTIE to your waiter to unlock bottomless roast potatoes. You won’t want to miss this!

STEP BACK IN TIME

We’re also bringing a bit of retro magic to your Sunday with our vintage serving trolley. Your meat will be wheeled over and carved tableside, just like Jamie’s dad, Trevor, used to do at The Cricketers.

BEST OF BRITISH

Raise a glass to the weekend with an award-winning English sparkling wine from Coates & Seely. Their crisp and zesty Brut Reserve is the perfect partner for a roast and can make your Sunday even more special.

Cheers!
